4. | Lotte Ritter (1.Samuel1) Notes:
According to notes by Curt Jacobi in the 1930s Lotte is the daughter of David. Other sources show her as the daughter of Samuel, so she is listed twice in this family tree. Unsure which is correct. The other notes also show two additional children of David: Hedwig (?) who married Hugo (?) Berge; and Lippman (4) who married Amelie. Hedwig and Hugo Berge are shown to have two chidren: Harriet (5) and Erna (5). Unfortunately whether this is correct.
The unsourced notes also show Lotte Ritter, married name Pese, had six children; the notes show only the names of four:
- Jenny, married name Boehm.
- Max, had three children Heinz, Else, Lotte.
- Anna married name Hamburg, had two children Laura and Friedel). Friedel Hamburg's married name is shown as Ritter.
- Tina.

24. | Curt Carl Jacobi (11.Harriet3, 3.Emanuel2, 1.Samuel1) was born on 4 Sep 1894 in Stettin; died on 26 Sep 1969 in Johannesburg. Notes:
He was schooled at the Schiller Real Gymnasium in Stettin where he matriculated in 1913. He enrolled to study medicine at the University of Breslau but volunteered for military service in 1914 at the outbreak of WW1. He served on the eastern and western fronts obtaining the rank of Feldhilfsarzt. He was awarded the Iron Cross (2nd Class). While in the army he was sent to the University of Greifswald to further his medical studies. At the end of WW1 he returned to the University of Griefswald to complete his studies, qualifying in 1920. He then moved to Bad Hersfeld, where his fiance lived, and worked at the Landeskrankenhaus from 1920-4. From 1924-35 he was as a general practitioner in Bad Hersfeld. In December 1935 he moved with his wife to Amsterdam and in October 1936, together with their daughter, they emigrated to Johannesburg. He requalified as a doctor in January 1940. In January 1941 he volunteered for military service and was given the rank of Captain in the SA Defence force. After WW2 he worked as a government medical officer in the Department of Pensions. He died as a result of a brain tumour.
